After downloading the latest (7.0) version, it installed fine. I got an error message on 3 straight attempts. The version that came with the mouse (6.3 I believe) would not load on my laptop running Vista Home Premium SP2. I had some trouble loading the intellipoint software. The programable side buttons are also nice additions.especially the zoom feature that gives you a zoomed box that you can drag around to read fine print on a webpage.
The size and feel are really nice and the shiny black finish with the chrome strips is really stylish and elegant. I wanted a small wireless mouse for my new laptop because I hate laptop touchpads.
